A real African experience

Our prime hunting concession (Hunters Moon) is located at the foothills of the Colesberg  Mountains, 115 000 acres of raw and natural beauty. This enormous property plays host to some of the best game in Southern Africa, it boasts 300+ Buffalo, 400 Sable, 300 Roan and no internal fences in sight. The beautiful plains, mountains and rivers are pristine habitat for the 10 000+ head of the highest quality game.

To finish the experience we head down to the shores of the Indian Ocean. The terrain is mostly dense bush, valleys, rocky hills and thorny plains – this often presents a more challenging hunt due to the dense bush but this is the home of the bush dwellers such as the bushbuck and blue duiker. This presents a unique opportunity to add to ones species list.

Our Safaris are tailored to individuals, groups of up to 15 people and families.

I have now hunted the past two years in the Eastern Cape with Savannah South and booked my third for next year. On both occasions Savannah has customized the hunt to meet exactly our needs. From importing weapons, being met at the airport, customized daily hunting, excellent lodge accommodations and taxidermy. Adrian took care of it all.

After hunting east Africa and Europe, it was a great experience to hunt in the eastern cape with professional and well organized Adrian Purdon and his competent crew. The agreed game was found, selected and presented perfectly. Off-Range hours and accommodations were pleasant and relaxing just as you would expect in old Africa.
